Nagbe was not a first choice call Holmes was first choice and Nagbe was an injury replacement.

When you are his age and you are not a #1 choice why risk your career? He has got to see that the World Cup is not in his future so step aside and let the young guns get some experience.

He'd be 32 in late 2022. A World Cup could definitely be in his future if he wants it. He's currently in the best form in his career.

And so you made my point Nagbe is "currently in the best form of his career" yet he was still not first choice for the team by GGG.

Nipples turned down the invite for "family reasons".

Also, Greg was just on Counter Attack and said that there were 3 players from Toronto that couldn't make it, so we definitely dodged an Omar (he mentioned him by name) call up.

And he also sees Paxton as an Olympic level player right now.

But why

They need to worry about their clubs and not this worthless friendly

Give them a rest during these non qualifying international breaks right now

But why

Because I think this is only Gregg's 4th camp and neither of them have been healthy for all of them.

And these aren't worthless friendlies.

Playing Mexico again in a friendly is pointless

It’s a money grab by USSF and nothing more bc they know Mexicans will fill the stadium even tho Mexico will field an experimental squad

As long as FIFA is using their rankings to determine pots for the World Cup, you can't say this is meaningless.
