I'd like to see the same starting line-up in midfield and attack, assuming Clint isn't ready to go against Mexico.
Here's the tough question though... what happens if Deuce is healthy and in-form in 2 months?
That means either Wood or Sacha to the bench.
I don't envy Jurgen at all for having to possibly make that call, because Deuce is such a wild card. In the last 2 years, he has had an alarming amount of "don't give a frick games" (Concacaf Cup most notably), but then he has shown us he can still go into "frick you mode" (Copa).

can't believe our players are actually moving in space without the ball and finding pockets. Its so beautiful like where df did this come from?
Toronto FC, NYRB, and Borussia Dortmund.

Deuce is a tough one as you say. He can still score but tactically he can be a nightmare. He won't pull defenders all around the field like Wood does to help free up space for the other attackers especially Jozy. If you play him in the midfield he won't track back on D. It's a tough call at this point to me. I don't know how he fits with Jozy in the lineup

I agree about Deuce. We are much more static and not as free flowing when he plays. I think he can play a roll in getting us to Russia, not sure he can really contribute there. Maybe as a sub to get a late goal, but that is about all I see for him.
Reminds me of the USWNT with Wambach late in her career. Too much emphasis on getting the ball played through her. The teams play better without either of them.

I expect Deuce to step in for Sacha...even if that isn't necessarily the right move.
He could be a great 60th minute sub when we need to press for a goal. He has great tactical ability and you know he would be pissed off about not starting (which would likely motivate him).

If Dempsey starts, I think it would have to be as a forward. I just don't think he'll be willing to cover as much ground defensively as a center mid will be asked to.
