Great play from jozy

Jozy was our best player this match and for much of the tournament in terms of workrate and setting up chances.

The only problem is that he couldn't score, should've had one against England, should've had one in this game and one against Ghana.

Man, prime Michael Bradley was world class.

Yep, this was such a perfect mix of vets (Boca, Dolo), guys in the middle of their prime (Donovan, Dempsey, Howard) and young guys entering their prime or just outside of it (Bradley, Jozy).

I loved this team so much even before this match.

Was just thinking how good he’s been. I don’t really remember any individual performances from this World Cup, just the big moments.

That ball from Donovan and run from Demps was a beaut

I think Donovan stole a goal from Jozy there.

It didn't help, but Jozy was leaned so far back, he was always going to sail it.

Probably the dumbest coaching move that Bob made in his USMNT tenure comes in the next match when he inexplicably puts Rico Clark back in the XI and Edu to the bench... only to take Clark out 34 minutes into the match.

Damn, Landon always made the right, more lethal pass.

At least he had the balls to make an early sub once he saw it wasn't working.

This is surprisingly fun and open for a game that doesn’t give a goal until 90+

Sure, but Edu and Feilhaber had clearly shown to be the better CM's at this point.

Same thing with him putting Findley back into the lineup for Ghana, when Buddle and Gomez had been better.

It was like once we advanced out of the group, he reset everything.

That Dempsey miss was much worse than Wondo's.
