the problem with Barca is they don't develop shite anymore
until he's a finished product he should stay at BvB. that's at least 2 more years. their track record of development lately is insane and out-shines anything Barca has produced since Messi/Busquets (so about a decade)
the second issue is he'd be competing against messi or neymar
now in a few years? when Messi's body is fully broken down? Barca would be amazing. hopefully he can pair up with Beniesta

Dude, the Barca academy is widely regarded as the best development academy in the world. Wtf are you talking about?
And how is this detrimental to his development?

Well i know that. My point is player production isn't a problem for Barcelona on any level.

I think he's saying that Barca don't give very many chances to young players so they have to develop elsewhere, away from the Barca first team.

well he's too old for La Maisa
and when was the last legit prospect to graduate from La Maisa and make waves in major soccer?

the is a long list of young players on the cusp of doing something really great who go to Barca/Real amd sit only to never take a step due to that gap in development

I think Guzan, Brooks, Fabian Johnson, Bradley, Jones, Dempsey, Cameron, and Jozy are all on par with Cherunodlo at their positions.
Cameron is a very similar player to Cherundolo in terms of being a consistent, solid non-superstar player who sticks around Europe for a long time.

as a nation of kids watch an American player of pulisic's level, I think we will start to get to a point where it's definitely not once in a generation.
this is key. an american kid being great on the international stage, while playing a position that allows him to score goals, could be huge for popularity among american youth.

I just hope we can get some guys to compliment him so it's not just some one man show
There's a journeyman cat out there, playing quality minutes for LA Galaxy. Don something. Don Ovan, maybe?
Should he get a look for the Nats?

Munir El Haddadi
Few notables away from the club
Thiago Alcantara (Bayern)
Gerard Deulofeu (Everton)
Bojan (Stoke)
