France has the upper hand. Hummels, Khedira, Gomez and maybe Schweinsteiger (someone mentioned an injury here) are out. They'll be playing with Fat Mario as a False 9 and he makes the entire offense worse when he's doing that.

Germany was the better team against Italy but couldn't break them down. France's defense isn't as good, but their offense is really clicking it seems. It will be a good game. With the injuries and suspensions, plus home field advantage, I give France the edge.

The French have put a lot of time and effort into their defense, but I suspect the Germans will devise a strategy to overtake those defensive with a sudden and overwhelming attack. I expect the Germans to attack one side of the french line, ending in an unexpectedly abrupt capitulation by the French.
