I don't have any dog in the fight as well, I actually predicted Belgium in the finals, but for every one in here to blame France for time wasting is ignorant. Every team in their situation right there would have tried to waste time. And we've seen worse time wasting in smaller events

You got to see France put the clamps on Belgium. I mean they were down 1 and barely crossed the half in the final 10 minutes.
Not every game is going to end with a flurry of shots.

I actually didn't think it was egregious at all. It was standard end of the game, protect a lead type stuff. Plus, France were still going for goal when they could.

I mean I watch a ton and don't tell me the stuff by mbappe wasn't egregious. The other stuff was kinda borderline but that was just complete crap.
There is no realistic reason why soccer can't go to a clock in 2018.

I’ve watched a bit of soccer in my life, so don’t tell me I’m new to time wasting.
I’m merely stating that in a match of this magnitude with the quality of the first half to see it reduced to a bunch of bullshite in the second half was frustrating especially knowing the quality of Mbappe to not be an insufferable Count. France completely shut down Belgium and deserved to win regardless of end of game shenanigans that many teams would pull.
