That was my first reaction, then I thought about it and realized that most people don't buy the 32GB. You're either like me and don't care about storage or you do care and get as much as possible.

32 is perfect for me. 64 will be better though so I can store much more pictures.

I wish the base model was the 32GB with the $199 price tag. 16 GB with the current apps and software is not a lot of storage.

I think they phased out the 32 because there are people who don't need much space and then there are the power users.
32 won't go far at ALL anymore for the non-basic users given the high resolutions of everything and the ability to record 1080p.

i think the fact that the 16gb model for 6 plus is 299 will be a deterrent.
For 299 you get a bigger phone already plus 64 gigs with the baseline 6.
