Yeah, it's in the link above but it might not be available in your area yet. I filled out their request for service forms online before any uverse service was available and back when 18 was the highest down speed available.

Also, before uverse was available in my neighborhood I lobbied any of my neighbors I ended up discussing any kind of electronics with to sign up as well.

ETA:
They emailed me last summer to tell me the 24 down was available. Apparently they changed it from 24 to 45 but I'm still locked in until September at $45 before taxes and fees.

I have the max that uverse offers and its advertised as max of 18 down.

ps - just read on ATT site and it says speeds of up to 45 might be available, check for availabilty in your area....

AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Elite 6.0Mbps
AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Max 12.0Mbps
AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Plus 18Mbps
AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Max Pro 24Mbps
AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Power 45Mbps
AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet 300 300Mbps

ps - frickers. I just spoke with Uverse and 18 is max in my area. The 300 is only in TX at the moment but plans are to expand the 24,45, and 300 markets they said.

I can't figure out how to do the check availability. Everytime I enter my address it just goes right back to the same internet page that says check availability. It does have my street address at the top though.

Yep, unless you aren't happy with your house.
I was told today that there is fiber in the neighborhood but my contact wasn't sure if it was available to the home, yet. If not already, it will be shortly and in that case I woule definitely go with AT&T over Cox (which is the case 100% of the time anyway)

I know
:TLDR:

Here is my situation that I'm in with the whole cox vs. att mess:

Currently have cox contour with 5 tv's running on it. All of the movie channels. 24mbps internet.

Base price locked in for 2yrs as of today $280.00/month discounted to $243.00 for 1yr. 30 days from now $48 termination fee

ATT offering same amount of tv with all movie channels. 18mbps internet and dvr capabilities.

Base price for 1yr $143.00 and raise to $219 after the first year

Cox just gave me whole sales pitch that quality is crap with att and service would suck. Basically I couldn't be watching hd on tv's while ,dvring shows, playing xbox, watching pron on laptop, and lurking on td all at the same time. Which the badassness that COX is lets you do all this for the extra price.

I am wondering if someone has the same cable situation I currently have with Cox, but with ATT????? If so what can I really expect from my experience

I don't trust anything Cox says. I don't trust ATT either, but they've gotten better.

I currently have Cox for internet, 50Mbps/?!? for $99 a month. I have ATT Uverse for TV. I had Uverse for internet as well, but max was 18/1 for me, do I dropped it.

I like Uverse for TV, not great, but good. Uverse internet was stable, but I d/l u/l too much and it was limiting. If Uverse can get me even 50/10 speeds I would drop Cox. But just not avail here.

Well thank you, I definitely got lucky. Not to many good women around that will put up with me.
Good luck with AT&T and if Eatel ever comes that way, jump on it.
