What's a good app that can automate the video editing process?

I want to take a bunch of short clips and photos from vacations I've taken into a 5 minute long video with background music.
I was hoping to just upload a bunch of videos and photos and it would automate the editing process for me.

I use descript for my wife's podcasts. Should work for you.

The free video editor on Win 11 does this. I think it’s hidden in the photos app.

I've used iMovie and it does the trick.
"iMovie is a free video editing app from Apple that allows users to create professional-looking videos without any video editing experience. It's available for the Mac, iPhone, and iPad."
