My wife & I just went last month to Charleston for our 26th wedding anniversary.
We were only there for 2days/3nights, I didn't pre book anything since it wasn't peak season, and was able to get discounts once there.
-Ft. Sumter tour is really cool tour, 20-30 minute boat ride through the harbor
-carriage ride through the historical district
-toured Citadel's campus
-walked on the beach
-toured the USS Yorktown (there is also a ghost tour at night)
Food is great. Husk for dinner (not open in February for lunch), Church and Union is nice. Rodney Scott's BBQ is awesome.
if you are renting a car, consider booking a nice hotel in Mt. Pleasant, save you a good bit of money

My favorite hotel in Charleston is the Vendue. Nice hotel in a perfect location. They have a couple of cool bars in there including one on the rooftop.
Charleston is a great restaurant town. Favorites inside FIG, SNOB, Anson’s and the Peninsula Grill.

Thanks for the good info. Did you stay at a hotel in town as well?

Add The Ordinary to your restaurant research. Vendue is nice. So is Bemond, for hotels.
Great food town. Great walking . Check out the museums.

Yes we stayed at The Spectator Hotel, very nice and great service. Very fancy bar downstairs. But they have some other cool ones. The Vendue was cool with a rooftop bar.
