We used Great Circle Mapper, just plug in the airport codes and it will generate the map. Save the image and upload it here.

Actually, combination of hurrying to finish the map while at work, not quite sure how to fill it out etc.

Technically, the route would have been BER-AMS-ATL-BNA for our recent trip.

3 segment path:
BER AMS 273° (W) 268° (W) 371 mi
AMS ATL 292° (W) 290° (W) 4,401 mi
ATL BNA 324° (NW) 329° (NW) 214 mi
4,985 mi

This makes more sense. I was starting to wonder if you were a stowaway on some random cargo flight

I went once ten years ago but I want to go again in a few months. I also want to go to Madain Saleh in Saudi because I think it’s relatively close.

All of these places were new / first time visits for me in 2021:

April - Oregon (fishing trip)
May - Dauphin Island, AL (hanging with friends)
June - Peru (duck hunting trip)
August - St. John / USVI (snorkeling)
November- Wisconsin / Iowa road trip (duck hunting)
December- Washington state ( duck hunting)

Best Airport : Eh, none stand out
Worst Airport : St. Thomas

Best meal: Tough one. Steak at Cowboy Dinner Tree in Oregon or fresh caught crab in Washington or ceviche and octopus in Lima, Peru

Memorable attractions: Mark Twain’s house in Missouri, sugar mill ruins in St. John, Last Blockbuster store in Bend, Oregon

Some Memorable adventures out of many: Meeting a girl on the street at night in Davenport, Iowa in the rain and starting a date on the spot, Boating through a cloud of ducks in the dark on Green Bay, WI, snorkeling with the sea turtles in St. John

Pleasant surprise: How friendly the people in Wisconsin treated me including an unexpected duck hunting invite from a local I just met, Having Trunk Bay, St. John all to myself for about an hour because I got there early

More planned in ‘22! Can’t wait

I love reading through these threads! Especially cool to see everyone’s maps. I’m headed to SLC right now, and will try to compile mine when I get back in a few days.

Well done, everyone.

2021 international travel for me consisted of 6 trips, over 8 weeks total, all since July, to one country- Costa Rica.

Cancelled- Phuket and Buenos Aires.

I don't remember all our connections but flew Southwest on all but one trip (Boston) so most were direct.

Cancelled Paris (again), postponed Philippines/Thailand to summer '23 so the year consisted of:

Boston last February
Florida Keys last May
Quick trip to Houston for a weekend over the summer
Disney World for a week in July
Playa del carmen in September
Memphis for a music fest and race in October
Park City, Utah for Thanksgiving

New Countries (0): None
New Airports (1): SLC, GPT
New Airlines (0): None
New Planes (0): 737 Max (I think) from Dallas to Cancun

Shortest Flight: MSY-HOU 312 miles
Longest Flight: MSY-SLC 1428 miles

I did 9 trips just over 10,000 miles total, all on the ground. Highlight was between Memorial Day and July 4. Hit Destin, two trips to Omaha for the CWS, and Orlando.
