Looking for a pair of slip on snow boots but now that I have searched for them online, all I am getting are these cheap chinese versions.

I just want something to wear around the resort, to the pool / hot tub, apres drinks, etc thats easy to slip on and off.

Something like this....waterproof and non slip. I'd get these but they don't have my size anywhere.

Any suggestions?

Hit copper Sunday and Monday. Shut it down yesterday at 1:45pm and booked it to DIA. Landed in Austin at 7:20pm local time. Was in my bed in Bell County before 9pm.

Great trip. Sunday was a bit crunchy, but Monday was solid. Never got a chance to get up Three bears but everything else was covered.

These are popular within our crew. Three or four people have a pair. All of them love them.

Without sifting through 20 pages-
I am looking at taking the family to Park City next year (24/25).

This early out it looks like there is a significant price different between going around X-mas/New Year and Mardi Gras. In 25, Mardi Gras is the 1st week of March.

I've never been to Park City, and haven't skied in years. Are there any cons to going this late in the season? We are interested in the town as well as skiing, snowmobiling etc.

I wouldn't call the first week in March late, that is still prime season. I would reccommend that time over Christmas 100% of the time.

Tevas. Either the ReEMBER mid or lower ankle ones. I’ve had the mid ankle ones for two years now and love em. They don’t make the zip version anymore. It’s a full slip on.

I'll give the Tevas a look again. I saw them described as havig a "water resisting coating" and was worried about how that would react walking in snow.

I also see they don't have 1/2 size...would you suggest sizing up or down?

On the North face ones, the low ankle ones look cool but I would prefer something a little higher and I don't like the look of their boot.

The 10 days from before Christmas to New Years is universally the most expensive time to ski. Its all demand. Snow fall in March and April is generally fantastic its just that the later in the year you go the greater the chance of a warm day or couple of days.

Spring break is always expensive too FWIW. Great times to go are if your kids get out early the week prior to Xmas and the Holiday weekends in January and Feb.

I went down by a half size and they are a perfect fit. I also wanted something more mid ankle. Living in Colorado I wanted something that wouldn’t get my ankles wet in a few inches of snow.

These have evolved into more than my wear to the mountain shoes .

These are now my morning & evening dog walking shoes, running outside quick shoes and of course the shoes I wear on my way to ski and what I put on after. Love these things.

I am curious about the new version without the zipper. They look sweet.

I'm in St. Tammany and next school year our kids don't go back to school until January 7, 2025. Mardi Gras week is March 3-7.

We will probably opt for Mardi Gras for lower crowds/prices for a first time trip. Weather seems a little more favorable in March as well.

I grew up skiing in Breck, my 2 kids will be 12/13 and have never skied but want to give it a try. My wife has never been and has no desire, so I am trying to make this as positive an experience as I can for them

We are going to Park City the last week of March for my kids Spring Break and have done it multiple times in the past this same week and weather is normally great with some big snowfalls some years. Also it can snow all night then be bluebird the next day where you only need a T shirt to ski in.

IMO, those puffy shoes aren’t for walking around in snow anyway. They are inside shoes.

To get from the house to the car to the resort just wear some real boots that you can get in and out of easily.

I’m running Nike SFS

My riding buddy from NJ loves these Uggs.

He has an inside pair and an outside pair. Will walk in snow with the outside pair. Soles are legit and more comfy than the puffy North Face he has.

I use my Sorels on sport mode (super loose). They work great for snow-day dog walks or going to the hottub and everything inbetween.

Season 25, Day 5
Mt. Norquay BC

The smallest of hills included in SkiBig3 (Lake Louise, Sunshine Village). Great place to ride on a rest day. More chair time than air time.

Yeah, Norquay is a chill place to just hit a few runs and take in a half day of skiing. Some great views of Banff up there as well.

Season 25, Day 6
Revelstoke BC.

My favorite place on Earth so far.
Better than Austrian Alps, AK, Continental US, you name it.

Revelstoke has everything without all the American bullshite posing.

Big mountain skills or hospital bills. No need to even ride the bottom half. Stay up top and weave the prefect dream.

I’m glad more people are not here.
