Anyone ever Honeymoon in Florida Keys?

Fiance' (no pics) and I are looking at ideas for the honeymoon. I think the Keys are a possibility. I've never been and always wanted to go. This would be around Thanksgiving in 2023.

Fly into Miami. Get a car. Hang around there two or three days then take your time making your way down to Key West. Could be fun.
The beaches aren’t great in the Keys. If you want good beaches, stay up in Miami or look at Ft Myers/Naples area.
Other ideas:
Vegas is incredibly affordable the week of Thanksgiving and you’ll hit all of the Black Friday deals. You can day trip to the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park (Utah), and/or Red Rocks Canyon.
If you want warmer weather, you’ll have to go further south: Mexico or Caribbean.

If you aren't in Key West, you need access to a boat to get the most out of the keys, either rent one, pull one down or hire a charter. Key west is a less smelly version of bourbon street. Not that there is anything wrong with that, just know what you are getting into with a trip to the keys.
