Water is warm and brown and that is before you pee or take a dump in it.

Same answer as Louisiana.
The Florida panhandle.

Somewhere near/in Corpus Christi. That’s easy!

Not familiar with Texas
Ironically it has exactly the same number of 14k foot mountain peaks as it has beaches worth visiting.

Speaking as a Texan who grew up going to Crystal Beach
I grew up in Houston and we had a beach house in Crystal Beach for about 4 years in the mid '80s.

I live in Houston. We go to Galveston because it's close. We do not go because it's a great beach. We know what we are getting before we go.

Out of curiosity, what do want to do on the beach? If it's pack up a tent, a bunch of beer, a BBQ pit, and throw your ride into 4wd and cruise down the sand for 50 or 60 miles and catch fish off the beach until your arms fall off without seeing 10 other vehicles in a weeks time then PINS in Texas is for you. Others can feel free to let me know where else you can do that in the US. If you're looking for 30A, it's not the place.

The water at SPI can get pretty blue this time of year. Also great fishing in the bay.
