They have tours here thru the mint where you can see money being printed. Very educational.

Trip Report Below-
Walked around Ray Roberts park and the lake. Used to come here all the time with the grandparents
Got chicken fried steak at Babe's, look at the size of the chicken!
Thursday went to downtown Dallas and hit up the Bush library, SMU's campus, Campisi's, Perot Museum, where JFK got shot, then Celestial Beerworks.
Bush library pictures below
Completely forgot Bush started the no child left behind stuff
Might want to remove this one
Did you know Kim Mulkey is Kramer Robertson's mom?
Spent about 1.5 hours there then walked around SMU's campus a bit. Very nice part of Dallas
Then I went to Campisi's (spelling might be off), but pretty good thin crust pizza
Then I went to the Perot Nature and Science Museum. By far my favorite museum I've been to in a while, great suggestion by posters here!
Good weather review for the hurricane thread on the OT
Glow in the dark gems
In the bottom floor they have a sports section. You can race against different people including a T-rex or someone in a wheelchair
Dallas view
From the museum I walked over to where JFK was shot. Didn't spend much time here
Then I met Zappas at Celestial. May be the first poster I've met? Had very good IPAs and a sour there
Once in Ft Worth played golf at Waterchase. Nice course, would recommend. At night went to Hard Eight for dinner, excellent ribs, pecan pie, and baked potato
Flew back on Saturday and got a picture of the clouds forming over the mountains in Salt Lake
Overall, huge thanks to everyone here for the recommendations. Really helped me relax and explore a new area so thanks!

Cool pics- thanks for sharing. I caught a bass that was either a little under or a little over 10 lbs on the point just to the right of the swim beach pic at Ray Roberts. That area is really popular with Hispanic church groups on Sunday - tons of grilling and socializing.
