Just realized I’m flying on a 737-Max tomorrow. Not sure how I feel about that. Wish me luck.

Uh, you should be happy that you are flying in a newer plane that has plenty of overhead bin space. The plane is probably the safest in the sky right now.
I would only feel kinda crummy if I were flying it on AA, as AA went for a dense cabin configuration, with very little legroom.

Are you flying domestically? I wouldn't be worried at all. If you are flying one in southeast asia or a 3rd world country airline, good luck!

You wouldn’t get me on a plane in Asia. ??

US airlines were fine with the original 737 MAX, because the first officer on our airlines is a competent pilot who could make an intelligent decision when the sensor indicated to point the nose downwards.
The crashes happened on airlines that make newly trained pilots into first officers -- guys who made critical mistakes because they weren't experienced enough to handle the situation.

Flew a SWA 800-MAX last Saturday. Made it safely and on time.
Godspeed

The MAX has racked up over a million hours worldwide since the Ethiopian crash, and Boeing is getting backlogged with new orders.

I flew on my first one yesterday. It’s a nice plane.

I've flown the MAX many times before and after the MCAS mess. No issues. It's safe and pilots are now trained what to expect if MCAS triggers.
