Finally taking the risk and traveling internationally this June.
It was very hard to narrow down the islands, but we are going to do a week in Chania, Crete, a week in Naxos, and then one night in Santorini before we fly out from that airport.
Does anyone have experiences, recommendations or must do activities in either location? We plan to rent a boat for at least a day or two, do some hiking, eat a lot, etc.
TIA!

You don’t need a long time in Santorini but I’d probably do 2 nights at least.
I have not been to Crete but it’s a massive island so you could spend a lot of time there.
Naxos from my understanding is a great base of operation to explore and explore other nearby islands.

Are you flying back to the states from Santorini?
May be worth flying into Athens the day before and checking out the city. You shouldn't need much time there and may find better pricing on airfare.

Don't forget to visit where they made the first donuts.
