We stayed at an Airbnb near port Angelas in Elwha valley (great place can send link if interested). From here we were able to easily visit Hurricane ridge which is the most beautiful part of Olympic National park in my opinion. If you’ve got it in you I’d suggest driving the loop up to the Rialto beach side of the park also. It’s a little drive from Port Angeles but we felt it was worth it. Hoh rainforest if you have time but it would be behind the other 2 for me in order of importance.

There are some pretty sweet places to rent in the Port Angeles area.
OP, sol duc hot springs is a decent stop. They have a pool too so you can extend your stay longer and won’t get wiped out by the hot water.

Beautiful area! We loved our stay at Lake Crescent Lodge.

stayed here and it was incredible, right on the pacific ocean. cabins weren't fancy but very clean. ONP is the most underrated park IMO

We also stayed at the Kalaloch Lodge on that trip. Neat place to stay on the ocean.
Another neat place nearby we did not stay at was Lake Quinault Lodge.

Lake Crescent for sure. If it's hot enough out take a dip in the lake. There's an old railroad converted to a hiking trail, I think this is it
WTA site
They also have boat or kayak rentals for the lake.
I'd do the drive all the way to the coast, stop in Forks if you saw the Twilight movies (think it was set there). Olympic national park is cool as well, saw a few bald eagles while I was there

Take the ferry (MV Coho) to Victoria for a day trip or a few nights. It's a fun ride and Victoria is cool.
Enjoy Olympic, it's very nice.

Rialto Beach at low tide.
Sol Duc Falls.
Hoh Rain Forest had a several hour long wait to get in July last year so go early.

I'll be there for the first time in Early June. I saw this news this morning.

We are sorry to share that the Hurricane Ridge Day Lodge was destroyed in a fire today Sunday, May 7th. Details are still emerging, but early reports indicate the building is a total loss. No one was in the building at the time as the area was closed. We will update as we are able. LINK

You can see from the first picture why Hurricane Ridge is a popular destination, if the weather is clear.
As someone mentioned, Victoria is a nice day trip. Take the ferry over. I guess you'll need documentation.
Another nice place near Port Angeles is Port Townsend, a short drive from PA. If you want, take a trip over to Whidbey Island. Port Townsend is gorgeous, has a beautiful waterfront, and has a lot of great restaurants/shops.
The movie, "An Officer and a Gentleman" was filmed there. You can still go to Fort Warden and see the bunkers where they did all their running.
