We're not forgetting this time. Every single Representative that voted against this bill should be put on notice. Fall of 2027 isn't too far away.

Huge fricking disappointment that HB 855 didn't pass. Even if it did, it would certainly not been signed by Landry (POS).

I emailed the two representatives in my parish who voted against the bill - doubtful I'll get a response.

Everyone needs to keep top of mind who voted against Louisiana sportsman in 2027.

It's a huge inconvenience, but I will go to their office in BR and update my boat registration in person. It beats having to explain to the LDWF agent it's their fault for me not having received my renewed documents.

Done, hoping for a good outcome.

Prove it.
Thanks for sharing - my parents have been married 66 years and still going strong!

Likewise - pine straw is terrible. We just had 150 bags of pine bark spread, looks great. Landscaper was doing another job for us and only charged for materials, no labor. He’ll get my business every time.
Fleming with out a doubt. Letlow is nothing more than a pawn for Landry.
Who cares if it's 1 or 10, as long as the 2A is in place, it's just a dream to these fools. :usa:
Thanks, I came here to post the same thing.

Not defending him, but Landry is not responsible for all those things on your list.and you know that.

You're correct, Louisiana has had abysmal political leadership which has caused the state to lead in all the categories listed; however, I do hold Landry accountable as he campaigned on resolving many of these issues.

Landry is an 11/10 when it comes to LSU athletics and about 2/10 everywhere else.

Landry is a failure.

Louisiana is the most expensive for homeowners insurance.

Louisiana is the #2 most expensive for auto insurance.

Louisiana ranks #46 out of 50 for roads and infrastructure.

Louisiana ranks #41 out of 50 states for K-12 system ranking.

Louisiana is the 3rd least educated state in the U.S.

Landry is also ruining one of the most precious resources in Louisiana by supporting the menhaden industry.

We need a strong candidate for Governor to oppose Landry in 2027.

Great work to everyone involved in this so far.

Great work indeed. I was surprised to see four of the five bills move through committee. The effort is far from over—there will need to be increased awareness, stronger support, and a more vocal public presence with elected officials.

I plan to attend

I've been waiting weeks for the date to get posted and sure enough, I'm traveling this week for business.
The Committee on Natural Resources will be hearing five bills on Wednesday, April 8th, Committee Room 4 at 9am.

If you're able to attend, please go and show support.

If not, you can submit a written statement for the record to: h-natr@legis.la.gov LINK

It will be very telling to see how this plays out.

The only consolation for me is these folks will all end up in hell for eternity - they've contributed nothing to the human race.
Carville is such a vile human being. He can't croak soon enough.

The position should not be appointed, Secretary of LDWF should be an elected official. When will we ever learn. :banghead:
