That’s what I meant. Never entered portal. Was told his name day after WW press conf. Never got another update. Saw Rothstein post yesterday that told me it wasn’t happening.

Don’t fret just yet. Think we are talking to a bunch of guys via their reps who are not in the portal. We missed on one yesterday that never got in portal and recommitted with his current team. If we get to the the portal close date and those metrics you cited haven’t changed and we have no commits then can definitely start getting nervous.
I hunt in Tensas. People north and south of us are covered up with them and we have none. In last 5 years or so we have gotten a few pics of 1 or 2 over the summer. Shocks me we haven't started seeing more over the years. That said, we are covered up in bear. Maybe that’s why. Wish we could get rid of the bear.

Was told an in conference name 2 weeks ago today. Not in portal yet. Would be an excellent pick up. We’ll see if I was fed shite or not.

Copy/paste from a thread a year or so go….
First thing that comes to mind is a story a coworker told me back in the early 2000s. While he was a college student in the 80s there was a girl he had a crush on that he kept asking out on a date but she always had something else to do or just wouldn't go. Finally after many attempts she said yes. The day of the date comes and he has a stomach virus of some sort and feels terrible. He wants to cancel because of it but he's worried he won't get another chance. So he decides to tough it out. He picks her up and they go to a local bar/restaurant. He starts feeling pretty bad at the restaurant so tells her he needs to take her home because he's not feeling well. On the way home it hits him like a ton of bricks and he's about to shite himself. He is almost to her apt/house and he can't take it anymore and pulls over at an old gas station that is closed for the night. He hurries around the back of the gas station but doesn't make it. He shits his pants, down his socks and on his shoes. Luckily, there is a water hose on the back of the station and he uses it to clean up. The only thing salvageable of his wardrobe is his shirt (short sleeve polo type) and shoes. The only thing he can think to do is wear the shirt like shorts - legs through arm holes. So he puts the shirt and his shoes on and walks around the store and gets in the car. Doesn't say anything to the girl and just drives the girl home which luckily was a very short distance. When he drops her off again nothing is said and they never talk again. He was a good ole country boy that had you in stitches telling this story. Unfortunately, he left us too early in life.

What made this even worse for Cal was he had Smart on the backburner while he was trying to pull someone else. Don't remember who that was. Once he missed out on that guy he went after Smart and Wade had already wrapped him up. His ego couldn't believe he would choose LSU over UK once UK offered.
What is MBB piece of Rev Share? Like $2 mil? They had insurance on DJ’s NIL and will or did collect just under $1.5. Assume they have insurance on all players NIL so would collect something on Reed’s as well but not a clue what his NIL was. So starting somewhere north of $3.5 before hitting up boosters

Don’t mean to sound like a smart arse but this is the state of Washington. Had -0- state income tax and implemented tax and yes it’s excessive. But I don’t think WA is some hotbed for talent or college football. Why would it help the SEC?
