Report: LSU Is Hosting A Former Five-Star Quarterback

LSU is reportedly hosting USC freshman quarterback Husan Longstreet for a visit this weekend, according to Matt Moscona.

Longstreet, a former five-star passer from Corona, Calif., was rated a top-five quarterback in the country for the class of 2025 and was recruited by Lane Kiffin when he was at Ole Miss.

Longstreet appeared in four games this past season as a backup and completed 13 of 15 passes for 103 yards and one touchdown. He added 76 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

This kid is probably great, I have no idea, but I'm genuinely curious why Deuce Knight hasn't been a consideration. He's a dude and I know this staff had to be familiar with him out of HS, he's from MS. His upside looks awesome, IMO. I just wonder what is reason for the lack of interest? It may be valid, I have no idea, but I did see him play, and he was impressive.
