Knowing that he intended to write a follow up novel makes this book even more poignant.for me.

This was a hard book to put down.

I think I'll wait a year and read it again.

He died too young.

I really enjoyed this book. I also liked Crime & Punishment. I just couldn’t get into Notes from the Underground.
I am going to read The Idiot soon.

Greatest novel ever written.

Took me 2 years to read his complete works. Now reading Joseph Franks 5 volume biography set on FD. Although I’m going slower on this one with 3 books down in 4 years.

I listened to a good chunk of the MartyrMade podcast on him. Dude had a messed up life.

Anybody have a preferred audiobook narrator for this?

My options are:
Luke Thompson
Ben Miles
Frederick Davidson

I wish I had started this book with a character guide. I wasn’t familiar with Russian nicknames or naming conventions, so for much of the story, I thought Alexei Fyodorovich and Alyosha Karamazov were two different people!
