This is one of my favorite miniseries and I'm just getting around to reading the book. I'm about halfway so far and I really like it.

I just finished The Hobbit. My kids got me The Last Ronin TMNT graphic novel I’ll knock that out quick, but the artwork is awesome.

Just finished What I Ate in One Year by Stanley Tucci. I enjoyed it as much as his last book, may try a few of the recipes.

One in a series of Stephen Leather stories featuring Spider Shepard, a sergeant in the British SAS (special forces). In this installment, Shepard and three of his fellow SAS members are made part of an ill-conceived offensive in Afghanistan. When the operation goes FUBAR, the four SAS men have to traverse about 25 klicks of hostile territory to get back to a friendly outpost, and on the way, they kill at least a dozen Taliban fighters and destroy several tonnes of weapons. Upon reaching their base, the general who screwed up the operation charges them with desertion and cowardice.

I broke down and decided to give the series a try. About 1/4 of a way through and it’s just ok. Hoping it picks up sooner rather than later.

I've read one or two of Leather's books. Not bad.

I let my sister talk me into reading that. Fantasy is my favorite genre. Turns out Romantasy is my least favorite drama.

I've been reading some Melanie Karsak Historical fantasy and really enjoyed it. But it had a lot more intrigue, war, religion/paganism, and politics among the romantasy/smutty bits (and some of the books in her series had little "smutty bits").
So far this one is just ok. It's picking up a bit now that I'm halfway in. I'm not sure how I feel about Feyre as the main character.
