Canada is/was friends with narduzzi. Its not like when he was at NC state and butted heads.

i would expect him, if he is taking the job, to want to talk to him in person first.

Especially since there was indeed a gentlemens/friends agreement that he would hang around awhile. Duzz was super pissed at Chaney for going to Georgia last year.

leaving without an agreement has me worried this could have been a ploy between he and Narduzzi to squeeze some cash out of Pitt. This interview seemed a little too public.

usually with our coordinator hires the news drops out of no where (steele) or once the top target is known publicly the agreement comes shortly after.

How much influence does TAF have over LSU football? Maybe I have a misconception of how much power they have. I have a hard time believing that the REC would allow this shite to go on at Bama!
If they did not secure Canada to a deal then Aleeva Needs to be fired ! Now!!! Not tomorrow. Not next week . NOW!!!!
This is beyond a shite show!

We all know how joe is. Did you really expect him to hire Canada today or to continue to bargain shop. This is not gonna end well

I mean, it essentially did happen with Rich Rod and Bama back in 2007.

he'd still be leaving a lot of money on the table if he turned down LSU. canada has butted heads with bielema and doering in the past...i am wondering if him and coach o weren't on the same page in the interview.

They wouldn't give him free reign. That would not be a problem with O

If I were Canada, and this meeting was a formality to finalize a deal, I would meet with LSU and immediately go home. I'd go directly to my bosses office, thank him for his commitment and help, and tell him I'm moving on. I'd want no decision leaked before I sat down in front of my boss and told him.

But that's just me.

Nah man. They expected Joe and O to leave the interview and run to droppings to announce the hiring within 10 minutes. LOL

It's amazing(actually not) that other schools seem to be able to zero in and get their guys while LSU's searches turn into cluster&^*&'s. Alleva's in a class by himself.
