I don’t think Riley ends up being the target, but Woodward is also the only active AD who has pulled off this kind of move. I know the situations are different, but if he did set his sights on Riley as the number one target, it would be because he thinks he has a legit shot at pulling him.
Agents serve their clients, but they can only bite the hands that truly feed them so many times. You don’t shovel the AD who makes his guys the highest paid in the biz bullshite just to get one client a raise. If Woodward is interested but has no shot, he’ll know it and move on.

Riley's life at OU will be a lot tougher in the SEC. He would pull more talent at LSU and he'll need it.

No idea if they are going to offer that to LR or if he would entertain taking it, but I’d be surprised if whoever the coach ends up being doesn’t come in around that number.
If you think we spent all that money to get rid of O and his staff just to not go big on the next hire then I don’t know what to tell you.
