There are hog fans that are freaking out because we don't have a coach yet. They are idiots and/or part of the "poor ol' Arky" crowd. Personally, I'd be pissed if we already hired a coach who wasn't an out of work NFL guy. There are college guys that are not coaching this weekend that would be decent hires, but none are on top of my list. I'm not nervous at all.

And you'd have to be a complete idiot to think that Miles would leave LSU to go to Arkansas (not because LSU is the be all end all either). Jeff Long is not an idiot. There are plenty of idiots in the national media.

I don't believe it gets that far...Briles looks good pon paper (Texas Ties, High Powered O). I don't think you win the press conference with him...which is gonna be a big deal after the JLS aftermath...

Yes. Briles must hire a decent DC. If he brought Phil Bennett with him it would be a major disaster. Could spend the money you saved from not hiring Les Miles on a top flight DC.

Briles built the Houston program and has put Baylor in a situation it hasn't been in the program's history with 3 straight bowl games. He might not win the press conference, but I think he would definitely win on the field at Arkansas.
