Not all visits are the same. There's a difference between a real scouting visit and doing due diligence before making a big decision. Lane could have little to no intention on leaving Oxford and sent his ex to check out UF and LSU just in case since they made him an offer.

Here is the school and brand I have spent last 6 years building. We are soon CFP bound and he runs the show.
Florida and LSU do not make sense at this point. Not saying Ole Miss is better than those two, it just does not make logical sense for him to leave right now.
It tarnishes the image he has built.

Do you seriously believe that neither LSU nor Florida have been in discussions regarding other candidates at this time? They don't speak with only one candidate at a time.
