f they can't handle not knowing the entire long-term plan for everyone in the program immediately, then their commitment to LSU (the program) isn't very deep.

ETA - also find it hard to believe that they'd allow him to continue to coach if this stuff had any legs but maybe I'm wrong

If Frank is going to Texas and is recruiting kids away from LSU while still coaching at LSU, then he’s a POS and should get shite canned immediately.

Frank Wilson is about Frank Wilson and nothing else. Why people think he actually gives a damn about LSU other than how he can use them to his own benefit is beyond me.
Wilson is a politician more than anything and has no legitimate allegiance to LSU. He's just a fraud that has no problem claiming it his dream, just like his mentor O who had many "dream jobs" somehow.
For a guy that can only coach down players, he gets way too much support from anyone who has a brain when it comes to actual football. Fire his arse and get an actual coach on the field. Let NOLA coaches and players do whatever the hell they want. They should not be allowed to hold LSU hostage.

Frank has been coaching for about 30 years. Only 8 of those have been at LSU
LSU won 2 NCs before he ever coached here. And LSU won its 3rd NC, 4 years after Frank left to coach elsewhere. Frank may not be the LSU guy that he is portrayed as

In his meeting that Sunday with Fat Woody, it was speculated that Kelly wanted to make some other staff changes that were vetoed. Speculation was that he wanted to get rid of Frank for back channeling. Woody said no, just fire high school Joe.

Everybody has blinders on saying he’s all LSU. What Frank is, is all Frank. People are underestimating his penchant for politics, self preservation and back channeling. (Nice word for backstabbing). In a situation like this, he’s going to only care about himself, as he should. So don’t kid yourself into thinking he will sacrifice himself for the recruiting class or LSU. If he thinks he’s going to Ole miss and he can talk a kid into waiting and maybe signing with Ole Miss, then of course he will.
There’s a reason Kelly wanted him gone also when he was told to fire Sloan.
