Who is the frickwit over on tRant that keeps saying Bill Snyder sucked? He'll probably be all over Miles arse acting like he should instantly be able to turn them into a 10 win team overnight.

LSU fans are a dramatic bunch.

I'm not looking forward to next season on the Tiger Rant. There are going to be weekly Kansas threads and if Miles does somehow manage to lead them to 5 or 6 wins the idiots will be out in force pointing at that like it's some sort of failure.

Nevermind the fact that he's taking over a program that has 4 wins in the last 2 years, and 6 wins in the last 4 years.

I don't remember. I started arguing with him for a bit until I realized that he was too stupid to walk and chew gum at the same time

Mile is very avg. His best might get them to 6-6. plus or minus 2.

So getting them to their best win total in over a decade is "very average"?

Do you actually read what you type?

Let me be more specific, Miles could coach there 20 years his record would be .500 at best.

Do you know what avg is?

av·er·age constituting the result obtained by adding together several quantities and then dividing this total by the number of quantities.

There you go.

If Les could guarantee .500 over the next 20 years, Kansas would give him 8 mil a year right now.

Do you? Miles averaged 10-2 over 11 seasons, yet you constantly say he's average, or much worse than that.

Are you now saying your own claim is a lie?

Ill even go as far as to say he wont even come close to mark manginos overall record. (50-48) because one year les has to win 12 games and theirs no way he sniffs 9 much less 12..id bet on it too

People love Les.

You won’t get any objective opinion here.

They WANT him to succeed but kansas is such a god awful program it’s damn near impossible

Nice try but he was 10-3 over 11 years

LINK

But that is neither here nor there.

I am evaluating Miles on his Xs and Os, game management (clock management), and adjustments during the game.

On these points, he is very average.

His record was for the most part Talent based.

Success in college football is largely based on talent and recruiting

Les will go down as an all time great college football coach. Far from just average.

So by ranter logic, he was EXTREMELY mediocre at okie st. (28-21) but hes going to have success at kansas??? Am i following correctly?????

What was their record in the 3 years prior to Les getting the job?

So 6-6 is only average when it fits your narrative to bash Miles?

Got it.

So going 6-6 with Kansas' talent would be quite the achievement, correct?

Their talent has won them 6 games in 4 seasons.

Les hires Emmit Jones away from Texas Tech as WR coach. Don’t know him, but I’d imagine a WR coach that was at Tech for 3 years is pretty damn good at his job

All of the Tech fans are saying it’s an incredible hire. He’s the one guy they were hoping to retain after Kliff left. Fantastic recruiter around DFW and knows Big 12 offenses.
