Im following you and not really arguing with you. I think the chicken game is just a terrible way to start it out with your AD who you already have over a barrel. Tell him what you want and be done with it. Again, 95% of contracts should be worked the way sexton usually works.

No idea, except for supposedly there are a few of the very big donors that have wanted to get Jimbo back for years, and were 2 years in planning on it when Les retired. When this 3 game meltdown happened, they decided to act and get support and it snowballed.
