Nope

LSU needs to move on

ETA: Unless it’s an announcement and LSU has something signed.

But you told us according to how Sexton operates that wasn't possible.

I can’t deal with this for another week. I’d rather rescind the offer so we can just lower blood pressure for a week.

Gonna die laughing if Ole Piss loses the egg bowl and goes to 10-2 and Vandy wins out and is 10-2. The committee is gonna put a feel good story, Vandy in over a kiffin less Ole Piss because who the frick wants to watch a Joe judge coached football team over Pavia going ham in round 1?

It’s not “decision after Egg Bowl”.

It’s “announcement after Egg Bowl”

Big difference. Looks like Kiffin has already told them he’s leaving but they asked him to finish the regular season while both sides work on their transitions.

After Egg Bowl both LSU and Ole Miss will announce their coaches.

This entire saga is exactly why I don’t want kiffin

The way he handled this has guaranteed the maximum amount of frick over for one school jsut so he can do it.

He belongs at a less serious school like ole Miss

Kiffin is a joke and he’s stringing everyone along. Move on from him. He may be a good offensive coach, but I believe he is just OFFENSIVE. There are better coaches and higher quality individuals. This guy will never change.

Here's what I'm reading into that. He's definitely leaving Ole Miss. Coming out of that meeting, if he were going to stay, He would have signed the extension and Ole Miss would have announced it today. I don't know if he's going to Florida or LSU, but I believe that both universities already know his decision, but have agreed not to announce anything until after the Egg bowl to appease Lane and Ole Miss. I believe that if it leaks out, that may squash his decision.
But

What kind of Mickey Mouse AD puts out a statement regarding their current coach’s future like that?? That might be worse than any vote of confidence statement I’ve ever seen. At this point you have to cut ties immediately. Forget the egg bowl, forget the playoffs. We’ll pack your shite up and mail it to you.

Lol ole Miss doesn’t have a decision to make. They’re not going to fire Kiffin if they think he’s taking too long to make up his mind.

Nah man this is why he’s the perfect coach for LSU. I see it so clearly now. Last cycle it wasn’t time yet. Now, the man and the hour have met.

If kiffin was leaving why would ole miss AD allow him to stay? That makes ZERO sense either

No I didn’t. I said the noise didn’t pass the smell test, and if it ends up being Lane, it’ll be the first time I can remember the noise ending up matching the result.

If he was staying why would you allow this cloud to hang over the program. He may have an agreement in place with the OM brass, but the guys in the locker room don’t have to abide by the same agreement. They can plainly tell him to get fricked. Quitting on your team at this juncture and then hanging around for a week is probably not going to fly in any locker room

If he were staying at OM there would be no need to announce it after the regular season

He’d just announce now
