On top or on bottom, depends on Dick's POV preference.

At 77, as long as he doesn't get behind a dangerous O, he can handle being in the box or directing things from down below.

This Dick never likes to be on top. In Pitt the head coaches always had Dick on the side.

I hope Les has the balls to hire Dick. It's a hard decision. I hope he thinks long and hard about it. He can't look soft in this situation.
In this case, I'm for him coming right away.

Those commentators mentioning it during the playoffs (don't remember who) said it would take a team at least three years to understand his defense and play it well.. I'm not sure that's ideal for a college team.. or a 77 year old coach.

He will be announced on Monday. Yes sir
He's almost 80 years old!! Frick no!!
He probably won't coach more than 2 or 3 more years.

Well if that is accurate we may as well forget it because I think Miles is gone before then. We need something working smooth and successful for next year.
I am not trying to start anything here, just my thoughts on how I see things.

Which I think matches up with how long Miles will be here
Not trying to rustle anyone with this comment, just how I see it.

You certainly pulled that Dick out of your arse.

Starting to think this may be the case as well.
Though I stop short of valuing the opinion of Troy Aikman and Joe Buck on implementing LeBeau's defense

I beat you by 30 min on Lebeau.
Now we've got a Dick measuring contest.

I don't have a clue on this but wisdom is wisdom and if his thinking faculties are functioning well then he has TONS of wisdom
