Wasn’t there a thread yesterday about Tim Brando?
Posted on 11/25/25 at 9:10 am to Chad504boy
Come on bro
You know how much of a joke Brando is and the comment I referenced was some moron saying the national talking heads were saying Florida. Brandon’s alcoholic irrelevant arse said OM.
Try again sweetie

Every state in the south has a high crime rate, not sure what that dude is thinking LOL.

It just seems to me these things change quickly in the last 24-48 hours no matter how much smoke is indicating LSU has the edge. I think OM makes one last push at the last minute. I'm in the "believe it when I see it" camp.

Tim Brando thinks Kiffin stays at Ole Miss

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't.
The reason is it is difficult for me to see a coach leaving his team right before the playoffs. Particularly when it is the first time in 60+ years the school will have a chance to compete for a National Championship...something the coach has been building towards for 6 years. I can't recall that happening except for in 1989 when Bill Frieder, then Michigan basketball coach, announced he would be taking the Arizona St job for the following season just before the NCAA Tournament.
And for those who will certainly reply with the "Brian Kelly did it", the two situations are NOT analogous. Notre Dame was NOT in the CFP when Kelly decided to take the LSU job. They were ranked 6th in the CFP poll going into the conference championship games weekend. They had a low %, outside shot to make the CFP if other results fell their way, but it was no guarantee. In fact, those circumstances did not manifest and ND didn't make the CFP.
Here, Ole Miss is currently ranked IN the CFP top 12. That won't change as long as they beat Miss. St. And it won't change regardless of the results in the conf. championship games. With a win on Friday, Ole Miss is guaranteed to be IN to the CFP.
In his perfect world, I think Kiffin would want to coach Ole Miss in the CFP then take over at LSU. But I just don't think either LSU or Ole Miss can allow that to happen. Both are going to want their HC in place soon to start preparing for next season with ESD next week and the transfer portal opening in early Jan. Also, LSU can't afford to risk Kiffin having a change of heart late in the game.
Now, if MSU beats Ole Miss this week, I think the pendulum swings in LSU's favor. It will become more analogous to the BK situation. A 10-2 Ole Miss team isn't guaranteed a spot in the CFP. At that point I think Lane does what BK did and leaves for LSU.

I honestly don't think or know what Kiffin is going to do. If he chooses not to come to LSU, move on to the second choice.

I don't think it is gonna happen. Just my memories of these situations over time.

Why would he come to LSU. LSU is in chaos mode right now. Facts are facts!!! Either OM or Florida. Geaux tigers!!

I am not putting all that much in it. I don't think Lane is the only coach LSU would pursue that could be successful here.

I still believe that he remains at Ole Miss, wins the Natty this season and they put a statue up in front of newly named Kiffin field at Vault Hemmingway stadium.

I think it’s Florida. Just hope we get someone who can put an offense on the field!
Posted on 11/25/25 at 9:16 am to LSU4Life2021
I view this just like a recruit that says he is committed to LSU. I’ll believe it when he is here.

Finebaum said he thinks Kiffin ends up at Florida this morning on Get Up. Does that count?
