Let’s not forget how much of a dumpster fire Baylor is after all the sanctions that Briles left them. It’s really impressive what him and Rhule did there.

Blows my mind how LSU fans on this board think Riley is an actual candidate. LSU is not a better job than OU. I laugh every time I see a post about Riley.

He has no reason to leave oklahoma for lsu.
Great coaches believe they can do it anywhere. Now if in a few years he can't get over the hill at oklahoma i could see him leaving.

Which statistic other than NCs within the last 20 years?
-OU still has more NCs overall
-OU has 4x as many playoff appearances as LSU
-OU is 6th on the all time wins list, LSU is 10 spots below that
So, no. The statistics do not necessarily say that LSU is a better job. Especially when considering loyalty to their coaches in the "statistics" as well. Riley may not want to go somewhere that fires an NC winning coach a year and a half after winning it all, opposed to somewhere he sits in a cushy seat just taking his team to playoffs basically every season.
