I like him too and especially for whoever he's allowing my kind of play calling like their very first play for a touchdown.

Dude, not to be a language maven or anything, but that's two significant misspellings within the span of four words.

Not sure if you watched the end of the game. Sumrall just led Tulane on the road to a win versus a Team Ranked #22 in AP and #23 in Coaches Poll.

Compared to the first half, it was shite... Was 35-17 at halftime and only scored 3 points in the second half. Final score was 38-32.. LSU fans are livid anytime they come out in the second half like stale chips!

I know, that's crazy, right? Almost like it was intentional.

Any coach who comes in with incentives based contract is good, otherwise, forget it.

Three coaches before Kelly were hired under incentive based contracts (you want more money, here's how you earn it) All three won a National Championship.

Granted, Saban was hired with the biggest coaching salary ever at the time, but it was minuscule to what he could earn by achieving certain goals, like winning the West, the SEC, and a National Championship.

Les got the same conditions: enough of a guarantee to lure him away from his current program to ours, but the only way he could make generational wealth was by achieving certain goals: win the West, the SEC, and a NC. He still had incentive based pay in his contract when he was fired. If Saban hadn't been in the same division as Les, Les would have made way more money than he did.

Then we go to Orgeron. The epitome of a "Prove you are worth this much" hire if ever there was one. I think he may have been the lowest paid coach in the SEC until he won the NC.

And then Woodward comes along and pays a coach a guaranteed full contract with no incentives(for the second time btw. Apparently he didn't recognize how flawed his system was after the Jimbo fiasco) and for the first time since the last century we fired a coach for not winning a NC.

We legit took the worst coach in SEC history and won a NC with him. But we gave him a reason to put effort into his job, and also gave him the benefit of proving everyone else wrong about his abilities and ceiling.

Orgeron didn't care about the money when he took the job, he cared about proving the doubters (USC) wrong for dismissing him.

Let's go find us another coach with a chip on his shoulder. A coach who cares less about the money and more about proving everyone else wrong about him.

Son of a bitch...I think I may have just described James Franklin.

He doesn't need the money... and he does need to prove everyone else wrong about not being able to win the big one.

No....no...dammit, it could work. At some point we have to admit that Penn State has always faltered in the spotlight.

James Franklin may be a cheap option for head coach, because just like Orgeron, he probably cares more about thrusting a finger at the world and we are the exact type of program that could accomplish that for him.

frick...I may have reasoned myself into supporting a Franklin hire.
