If that doesnt make you realize LSU never offered nothing will. Rileys agent did what he was supposed to do. Created leverage then took the best offer he was going to get. You dont think they would have ask LSU to counter? If for no other reason to get the USC offer higher.

Nothing except taxes will affect a mega millionaire, and he'll have the best people working on that angle.

Fan support was alright under Carroll

Louisiana has some of the highest sales taxes in the country. Highest murder rates per capita too. Lowest education levels. Among the highest in poverty rates.
Has some of the highest pollution rates per capita in the country. It is literally a festering shithole

California is the 4th largest economy in the world.
Has low pollution rates per capita.
Has low poverty rates.
High education rates.

You guys need to stop believing everything you hear on Faux News or One Minded America News and actually get out and travel the country. Hell, travel the world. It might just open your eyes to just how backwards and shitty where you live actually is.

If I was making $10M+ I’d choose SoCal over anywhere else too. At that point, politics/taxes don’t matter.

Interesting to see where he lives. I also prefer OC but that’s a crazy commute unless you pull a Kobe

Either way, he can pay for the best schools anywhere

Works for PG&E and lived in SD? Did he have a remote gig? They don’t have anything south of Bakersfield.

It is pretty damn nice out there. Yes there is bad stuff but there his just so much.

I live on the west coast and LA's homeless population is a massive issue. I don't really care about the taxes, crazy laws, or wildfires, but there are tent cities everywhere. Nice neighborhoods, storefronts, you name it. No one cares if you're a millionaire. The homeless people will follow you into stores to harass you.

I wouldn’t call it a GOP oasis these days.

Must be better than living in anywhere in the Midwest! He must be a fair weather person!

He will be living the dream by the beach in OC and probably taking a helicopter to work.

Wife and family will love it.

This is bullshite. Which is making me think him ever coming here was bullshite and naming us specifically last night was also bullshite. Why would he name LSU if he were bailing within 24 hours? Because he helped manufacturer the LSU rumors. But why? And to what extent? Was he holding an offer or were they just the big school to provide cover for a deal he accepted weeks ago?

He's filthy rich so the stupid high taxes won't bother him so much, and he'll live in a gated community so his family will be sheltered from life outside those gates. Good luck to him.

The SEC scared him so much that he left Oklahoma for a barely-above-.500 PAC12 team in full rebuild mode. He has no chest.

Look what happened to him! I will never be flying every day in a chopper or any small plane for transportation because crashes are happening more and more.

NIL money hasn’t begun to change the landscape of CFB the way that it will. When it does, a top 10 USC team has the potential to become a monster because of the market size and off field opportunities for players. The car dealerships and wing joints in the SEC might struggle to keep up.

I travel to L.A. frequently for work. I can unequivocally state that it is a complete shitehole. You can only stay and work in a very limited area because of traffic (unless you have a helicopter), and USC is in the ghetto. The smog chokes you. The homeless problem is way worse than other cities. Half of his income will go to taxes, and real estate is wayyyyy overvalued. Everybody there is chomping at the bit to come to Texas. Oh, and the Colosseum is in worse shape than the Colosseum in Rome not to mention that they have to lay a cover over 1/2 of the seats because they can’t fill it up. SC hasn’t done anything for 15 years and I don’t think it will ever get back to what it was because nobody cares. SC is mostly Asian now and they don’t give a frick about football
