Maybe you should read the OP before you spout off. "King is in Houston right now".
What for? A meeting? Why would he go to Houston (supposedly) if he was going to hook up via technology. When he lives in BR, and the team is in College Station?

Maybe he didn't want to negotiate from the Holiday Inn Express in College Station? 
I dont know man and don't claim to. And I've definitely seen enough of these negotiations go sideways to not believe anything until the coach is at the podium giving a press conference. Or hell the sideline coaching ftm, but in this case I'm going to give Carson the benefit of the doubt.
You don't have to, that's fine. But don't act like these guys can't fly in for a meeting and fly right out. They are the equivalent of CEOs of multi-million dollar companies on the Forbes 500. They have every convenience invented available at their fingertips.

Herman has an 11am game in the morning. He had a certain time for access to the field today, to do the pregame walk-through. And had a team meal for Thanksgiving prior to that. The team left after breakfast this AM for Memphis
He was not in Houston meeting with King, or Alleva, or Armstrong.
