Idiots! The agent isn’t doing this shite. He’s trying to place multiple coaches and stay in good status with the cash cow schools.

Im worried about you being friends with 3rd grade children. None of that text makes any legible sense

The only benefit would be to string along LSU and Florida to hurt their chances of getting 2nd or 3rd choices for coach and hurt recruiting.

Makes no sense. Sexton doesn’t earn a penny “playing games” after Kiffin signs an extension.

How many less pennies does he earn if more governors start talking about how coaches contracts are too high and we should get congress involved and totally change the coaching pay scales?

Not to mention Sexton has other clients he would love to get hired at LSU. Why would he sit on those?

This is not that difficult.. If hes still at Ole Miss Monday Lane has signed the extension, but they dont want the media to find out, so they can keep stringing LSU and UF along.

It’s a new language called Apostro-free

That is retarded. Every day this goes on is worse for the team and Ole Miss.

Except all of these teams are choosing to tolerate/accept this. Any one of the 3 teams involved can say we are out and done with this whole process. Ole Miss can give Lane a chance to decide on the spot(sign the extension) or he is fired. LSU and Florida can choose a different coach. The problem is Lane has all of the leverage because he is in high demand.

Agree on LSU and Florida. At least hopefully that’s what they do. Ole Miss has no other option than to wait. They can’t fire him.

Pretty sure part an agents job is to keep every interested party aware of their clients contract situation. It might actually be illegal not to disclose it now that I think about it.

Yeah. Lane doesn’t have to tell other teams and neither does Ole Miss. but if Sexton keeps negotiating with other schools even though he knows Lane has signed and does not disclose that info then he’s negotiating in bad faith.

Not sure if there is a bad faith statute in the sports world, but at a minimum it would absolutely wreck all credibility of the agency.

This doesn't even make sense. As soon as that contract is signed its getting out. Whether they want it to or not.

Your governor just trashed Sexton in a very public way. It would be a good lesson to teach to others if he went out of his way to screw over LSU. Lane is cool with it because it hurts his rival

Just stop while you're behind.

An agent isn't going to tell his clients to go frick themselves over a drama tiff he has with a governor. He literally can't. He has a contract with his client's that requires he negotiate where they tell him to. Attorneys argue with each other on a daily basis. Do you think they screw their clients over to get one in on opposing counsel? Do you have any idea how agency/mandate law works?

When and if he signs an extension with Ole Miss there will be a press release quickly.

Ole Miss is not helped by those teams still thinking they are in it. They are only harmed by the coaching uncertainty.

this makes no sense, even after figuring out what is trying to be communicated. This dragging in is no good for Lane in Oxford. It is also no good for his agent to act in bad faith. And it doesn’t hurt UF or LSU.
