I certainly wouldn't. If Zook, Pees, Quinn (Doubtful; NFL HC possible), or McDermott, I'm more than happy. If Trgovac, I'm still happy.
The other piece is what position the person has coached.
Pees has coached LB
Quinn has coached DL
Del Rio has coached LB
McDermott did LB 1 season but mostly DB (conflict?)
Fangio (does not fit because team is not playing) but coached LB; may still be employed but HC is gone.

Rummy's theory (from p. 39) may have some merit, i.e., there's more in play than just replacing a DC. Also, a Monday announcement would leverage the interest from the CG - great recruiting buzz. IIRC, Saban was announced at Bama something like that. If it's NFL related even tomorrow (big NFL weekend) we might get some leaks.
My guess is that Les has a timeframe for how much longer he wants to coach. Chavis threw a monkey wrench into those plans.

I see...we'll somewhere along the journey it appeared to me he was "told".. I missed the part he was making fun of others..
It would be nice if people on here were more respectful more often even when dumb questions are asked...but no, a lot people like to be an arse in attempt to make this place "more entertaining".

I'll break it down:
I gave an over the top sarcastic response to someone due to all of the "I know but can't tell posters." Then I idiot proofed it with an edit saying I have no clue who the mystery candidate is.
