Word is Auburn wanted to force coaches on him and he turned them down, but how do we know that is even true? Who actually said he had been offered the job?
TCU has a tremendous opportunity to be the alpha in their conference with OU and Texas both leaving.

I'm not. Goofing off while providing some real info if I can. My handle sucks. I created it back in the day when Buddy Hield was with the Pels. I still dislike Alvin Gentry. Anyway.
As I just stated, why would I lie about the TCU job? What's my motivation? I don't care about Napier, TCU, Kellen Moore, or even Sonny Dykes. I got some sourced info (from inside the TCU football building), I shared it.
Dykes is the #1 target. That's what I was told. Jeremy Clark (runs TCU 247) is saying the exact same thing. SMU has offered an extension and more football investment. Dykes hasn't committed to SMU, yet.
Kellen Moore interviewed. He reached out to TCU. I'd label it a courtesy interview (just my opinion though). Maybe Moore is trying to get more money or some kind of guarantee from Dallas. I don't know. Or he's just trying to gain experience interviewing. TCU isn't going to hire him.
On Napier, again, I was told it was a Zoom interview yesterday morning.
Believe, don't, it's your choice.

TCU obliging was the courtesy. TCU wants someone with head coaching experience. Moore reached out, TCU interviewed him.
Deion also reached out to TCU. I have no idea if TCU interviewed him.

There is no big time future in the Big 12. Their next TV deal is gonna pay like a Group of 5 conference. Funds will be less for each school for each sport. Up-and-coming coaches will be migrating AWAY from Big 12 schools in the next 3-4 years.
