Crowton runs the "little bit of everything" offense. Thats why we aren't that good at any one thing. We lack an identity.

I think that would be a home run hire.
I'm pretty sure Jefferson and Garrett wouldn't mind it at all either.

exactly, you have to have a starting point. Some to hang your hat on.

Whoever LSU hires needs to be someone with a track record for developing QBs.
Jefferson has a lot of work to do.

LSUDad appears to be "in the know"?
someone get the battery, cables, and bucket of water and lets see what he says!
Few really good names here... already excited!

My priorities.. if they mattered
1) QB development
2) Simple offense built on execution
3) Passes on 1st down

Dad isn't "in the know" per say. Not nearly like Belowpar, but he knows alot of ppl in the coaching perfession and hears alot of the industry rumors that most never hear.

After last night, I am figuring we won't get rid of Crowton unfortunately.
I also looked up info on Studs and while gets credit for being OC on some big time offense at Bowling Green, the head coach was the OC under Urban Meyer at Bowling Green which tells me he was not likely in charge of those offenses at all.
That said, I'd be for Kragthorpe. We need a QB developer.

Any change that will cut down on the number of personnel packages used per series, and the use of the shotgun 90% of the time will be an improvement.
Someone who can manage the clock and is on the same page with the new WR, RB, and OL coaches.
The actual name of the new coordinator is not as significant as the above requirements.
