They tried to get a serious coach like Saban, but Brian Kelly didn't work out.
SO they would go after another goofy like Les? I don't think so and LSU "insiders" rarely know anything

Agreed, Drink is a big no.

1. He can’t win vs good teams
2. His mentality of not liking playoff or bust pressure is a weak mentality that will not work here or ever win a title

Pribula played this weekend, and Drink lost yet another ranked matchup.

He did after missing all those weeks HE WAS THE BACK-UP who they lost just before the season started and yet OU BARELY scraped by them.

I've read this multiple times and still not sure what point you are trying to make.

Are you trying to say Pribula was the backup heading into the season before Sam Horn got hurt?

Because everything I read said it was a QB competition with no defined starter/backup between the 2 and Horn got hurt in game 1 before he was about to get his turn to compete for QB1 in 2nd half.

Which insiders?

A lot of them.

LSU football is all in on Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin. The Tigers have circled Kiffin as priority No. 1 in their effort to replace Brian Kelly. According to Yahoo's Ross Dellenger, LSU put its money where its mouth is, making Kiffin a sizeable offer.

But if LSU doesn't land Kiffin, the Tigers have to reset. Reports have mentioned Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz as a potential backup plan.

They've beaten Miss St, Auburn, South Carolina, Louisiana, Umass, and Central Ark.

I'm very interested to see how Arkansas plays them. Another loss puts him at 7-5 overall and 3-5 in the SEC.

I don't see how you hire a coach off a potential 7-5 record with his own fan base getting tired of him. I've already seen some frustration among Mizz fans about his QB play. That's not something I'm interested to see at LSU. Especially considering they fired BK to potentially hire that. That's a tough sell to get any fan support to rally around, but maybe they beat Arkansas.

He didn’t win the job in the fall. Then there was the issue with Pribula coming back off of injury without the ability to really run against the best defense in the conference in OU.
