I feel, even if Lane does come here we could be going through this every few years. Does he actually wonder if he could make it in the NFL? Is there another college job he would be interested in? If he leaves OM early., obviously it isn't the lure of a National Championship.

Lane will put the whole f’ng SEC on notice with the talent we bring in here. I’m ready to start kicking arse again I don’t know about yall. I feel like these posts are just insecurities bc you are scared we’re not gonna get him.

I opened this thinking you would provide a fresh topic or take. I really wish people would stop creating threads to tell us who they’d rather have as a head coach.

Honestly man, no one cares.

Idk why people keep questioning if he wonders if he could make it in the NFL. He was the Raiders head coach already.

Not only this, but this is the second time he’s started this exact thread. It astounds me how this coaching search has made people think we care so much about their opinions.

HE IS NOT LEAVING ASU. Why people keep acting like we can just take him is idiotic.

LSU is a top 5 job…. There is no other college job someone would take because it’s a lateral move at best and that’s a lot of work to move a family across the country for a lateral move.

NFL…. I just don’t see Lane going back there

I know it's too risky, but if Lane falls through, I'm still very intrigued with Eric Morris. He just had another 50 point game. UNT is averaging 46.3 PPG, tops in FBS and 503.3 yards. What he's able to do in finding and developing raw QB talent and offensive output is really impressive.

He'd have to have a good DC and a program with a solid infrastructure, but man his offense would be fun to watch.

If LSU were to hire either one of them, you'd be in the minority by wanting Sumrall.

this is an honest question. why is there a lack of interest with Sumrall? I'm not saying i want him but he's done a lot with a little more so than any of the other coaches. Is it merely he's not an offensive guy?

We'll probably get shafted and not get any of these guys. Dilly said hes not leaving. Sumrall going home to Auburn. Lane wins Friday and decides to stay. Get ready.

There is a big big difference in making the CFP and actually having the team to win a championship.

We're all of a sudden going to pull in significantly better talent than under Kelly?
