He was smart enough to leave Florida when it was clear Urban had a foot out the door and Crowton’s time at LSU was finally beginning to tick down. People wanted Crowton gone but got Billy, were happy to snag someone from Urban’s staff, and then ended up wondering wtf he did for the offense in 2010.

I remember wanting to sign Ricky Dixon and Richard Dickson at WR and TE and Jordan Jefferson and DC Jefferson at QB just so Jimothy Hawthorne would get frustrated.

There's nothing about Billy G that stands out to me about his previous stint at LSU. Our WR's we're not impressive, route running was terrible, and recruiting was below par. No thanks!

There is a story about Billy, he was one of them with a few players that walked in Mile’s office and demand Lee start over Jefferson in the Championship game. TBob was supposedly with that group also and he ended up sitting out the game. Jefferson was acting the arse at Harrahs that night with some on the team. You remember what happened that year and in that game? Billy was let go after that year and moved on to Illinois.
