Lucas is an elite recruiter and coach. Lane has put together an incredible staff.

Wouldn’t really chest beat too much on this as Beamer is on the hot seat so that’s why Lucas looked for an out. LSU wasn’t the only one who came calling, they were just the most desperate caller.

So he was highly sought after, and chose LSU. Got it.

Supposedly, his defection didn't come as a surprise to DC Clayton White. It was pretty well known he was moving on at the end of the year inside the Ops building.

Again, not taking away from him as a coach. Kyle Kennard raved about him, and Stewart had a great relationship with him.

I am curious - is he supposed to be in charge of the entire DL at LSU, or just the Edges?

As most of us do with job offers when all things are equal.

In this case LSU will have the most talent year and year out so all things weren’t equal.

Still the highest bidder comment is pure cope as we all would take the highest paying job in a second tomorrow.

Looking at a dollar amount in a vacuum is why so many people are unhappy in their jobs right now.
