At this point they have time. Wait until all the dust is settled. Heck for all we know they might already have their 1 or 2 guy.

They had all the money and tradition last time and hired this idiot. They have 2 championships since world war 2, it’s not as prestigious as they think it is

He’s black so that means he’s a DEI. If he was white with the same resume he would be an up and comer.

Meh. Fire a few people in a very public way and move on. It’s really not THAT big of a deal.

In my opinion, the DEI talk is bunk. From what I observed, Moore was a continuity hire. When Harbaugh left for the NFL, Michigan promoted Moore to keep the staff together as much as possible. That's no different than when LSU hired Mike Archer after Arnsparger left.

Plus, Moore had filled in for Harbaugh during his suspension, so it made complete sense that he was elevated when Harbaugh left. Apparently Harbaugh had confidence that Moore could fill in for him, so the elevation made sense.

I don't see any evidence that Moore was hired to fill any quota or to diversify the coaching staff.

Agreed. Moore was a loyal "Michigan Man" designated to navigate the program through the Harbaugh fallout. Once that was clear, I suspected he would be replaced.

The real question is, why the f ck was Moore head coach in the first place?
