Is the Go Daddy! Bowl played on the same day as the Come Here, Momma! Bowl and if so, how do they sanitize the pole for the bowl and what do they tell the kids with conflicting loyalties or no idea who is either, both or neither?

Why would Jesus care about money at all? Doesn't being the son of God kind of trump that?

Arkansas State has played in exactly on bowl game since going FBS in the early 1990s. In 20 FBS seasons they have a 10-2 season (this year), three 6-6 seasons, and one 6-5 season, with 15 losing seasons. They are a Sunbelt School. Other than the fact it's "home in Arkansas" it is a step back from Vandy and Maryland. Should always move up when you are at a pinacle.

McElwain upgraded both his position and his salary. Gus took a pay cut and made about as lateral move as possible.

One just went to Colorado State, is that much different?

They are indeed very different. In a computer ranking I looked at, Arkansas St. was ranked #31 in the country and Colorado St. was #110 out of 121 teams.

just stop. so he can have success and get a job like ole miss. yet he turned down vandy because you can't win there. This makes total sense. (considering Vandy just spanked ole miss and is going to a bowl.)

After he "turned down" the Memphis job.

So you're saying Gus didn't turn Vandy down? They just didn't want him?

Did you see how bad the Auburn offense was this year? I'm fairly sure it was in the 100s, probably lost some shine on his HC potential on that note.

False on the pay and most coaches who want a longer career as a HC avoid Vandy. Historically a bad destination as a stepping stone school.

First it was not 3 million, closer to 1.3... also he did NOT turn down Vandy for Arkie State... Last year he turned down Vandy because he believed he could get a better job, promised Chizik 3 years, and did not want to be a distraction during the NC run..

Fast forward to the present, choice was Arkie State or stay at Auburn... Vandy is not part of the picture. Kansas and N. Carolina told him he needed head coaching experience... His wife did not help him...

Vandy had nothing to do with his decision this year.... The two events are not linked by time.
