Haha exactly. Can’t believe people listen to anything he says. Dude acts like an insider that knows nothing.

Never said this. Ask yourself why he couldn’t acquire anybody worth a damn on defense there. There are coaches who have fielded competent defenses full of 3 stars, that’s a fact.

BTW, if its all coaching, why cant your boy Aranda field a Defense at Baylor, who is near the bottom in CFB ??

True to an extent. In 2021 though Baylor had the 10th best defense in the country. Much more than what Kliff ever did at Texas Tech defensively.

Yeah, man — the idea that coaches can never change is the dumbest narrative. He had basically zero resources at Tech. Who knows if he’d make the right defensive hires, but I can guarantee he’d at least try. Look at Riley: he finally changed up his defensive philosophy. Coaches can change.

You mean the make believe threads from caw the troll?

Caw is a troll who thinks Kiffin is going to Florida.

But my point is, if he's interested in coming be a college HC, why Arkansas over Florida? Or why not wait for the 2 losers of the Kiffin sweepstakes? All 3 seem like better options than Arkansas.

Thanks for proving my point that even a defensive savant like Aranda has troubles fielding a good defense consistently with 3 star talent

Aranda fielded a top 10 defense at Baylor. Thus proving you can field a competent defense with 3 stars. What was Kliff’s best defense? 85th in the country. Big difference there.

2025 Indiana has one of the best defenses in the country. They are littered with 3 stars. 2025 Texas Tech has a multitude of 3*’s. Also one of the best defenses in the country. It can be done. Kliff showed he can’t do it.

Name them? Joey McGuire, and Curt Cignetti. 2 examples of this year alone.

No it does not, TT is very active in the portal just this last cycle alone with their Big money guy buying up defensive talent.

Hence why I said, pre NIL

If that happens, Arkansas will lose a lot of 60-50 type games.

He probably didn't have less resources than his predecessors at Tech and he was one of two Tech coaches since the Great Depression to have a losing record.

Not ONE Defense in the SEC gives up 35 ppg or more on avg.

You guys are something else

Why do people say this would be a great hire? He’s a sub 500 college coach and never really recruited well

He was horrible
