I mean, why? Because he stopped drinking (allegedly)? I know of a lot of assholes who stopped drinking and they’re still assholes, just sober assholes now.

Honestly him posting this kind of shite makes me think he’s staying. I feel like any athletic department/admin worth their salt would be like fuuuuck off dude, you may be leaving but you don’t get to play games with us.

I think he is staying. It will be great PR that he is sticking with OM, the school that took the risk on him and got him players he has needed. If he goes to LSU, he will be discussed on ESPN as "leaving his team before the playoffs and will chase whatever comes next regardless of situation. He is in it for Lane....."
I wouldn't buy an argument like that because coaches leave all the time for a better job and opportunity but this is how it will get spun. I think Lane cares about how he is viewed more than he used too. I don't think he is the selfish pr!ck he used to be. He is a diff guy now.
This seems a little similar to Miles going to Michigan rumors. He was celebrated when he decided to stick with LSU and shut Herby up.

I love how the comments in this thread reflect each posters level of pessimism. The passage is super vague and could be interpreted to mean anything you want it to mean regarding his future. Those saying it’s a bad sign are only saying that because they were expecting to see a bad sign.
