yeah i was worried about the nerd factor of Riley but got hooked in and wanted him as didn’t know about Kelly. I actually wanted Kelly about as much as any candidate out there a couple months ago when his name was on some wish list.

His toughness and slight arrogance combined with LSU’s typical swagginess… it should be quite an energy once we get rolling.

Loving all the saltiness from LSU fans acting like scorned lovers. We will see how “soft” Riley is in Vegas 2024. Afraid of the SEC ??

some on here were literally hoping he lost his last 3 games because it would make it easier to get him. They were hoping for a future HC to lose 3 games in a row.

This is the kid who absolutely had to play shortstop and threw a serious temper tantrum when he didn't get it.

Riley had major underlying issues that we hoped he would fix in the near future. When it was announced who all he was taking to USC, and was keeping the status quo, I knew he would never win a National Championship at OU or anywhere in the future. There was a lot of rot going on inside the OU program.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Riley ends up underwhelming at USC. If he has a few 8-4 or 7-5 seasons without playing for or winning the PAC12, he's gone after 3-4 years in my opinion. With a contract like USC gave him, they're paying him to win all the time and they will expect that. Not that my opinion matters but I was never fully on board with him coming to LSU. I definitely believe we dodged a bullet.

He took a PAC12 job and his new team is scheduled to play 3 SEC opponents over the next 6 seasons.

Not saying he took the path of least resistance, but he took the path of least resistance.

I won't shite on the man's physical appearance that he cannot control, but he definitely looks like he has a touch of soy in his blood.

well we learn a lot about him in those 3 days. He's obviously still a good coach but seems a bit soft

What's wrong with that? I'm wearing Jordans right now. (I only have two pairs, felt it's an obligation. Hardly a collector.)

After doing a cost of living calculation using Lincoln Riley’s reported salary vs. his salary at OU, he’s making roughly 2 million less per year when it boils down.

There's a reason so many people are leaving California right now. Especially high profile people who make lots of money.

I don't think a lot of people understand how expensive it is to live out west. For instance, a $350,000 home here in Louisiana would be well over one million there.
